The Biggest Careers Webinar is back again!

Make the Future Live, hosted by Shell, invites you and your year 7 – 9 students to join them on 2nd July 2019. This will be the fifth in a successful series of live, interactive digital broadcasts brought to you by The Big Assembly. With audiences of up to 40,000 students from across the UK simultaneously participating in conversations about their futures.

Featuring a variety of talks by real-life STEM role models, this assembly will bring to life students’ learning and spark their interest in STEM.

What’s more, there will be a chance for students to put questions to an inspiring panel who will be providing valuable insight into STEM careers, live! This will include those involved in the world-famous Shell Eco-marathon. Where university students from across the globe compete with their ultra-energy-efficient cars to see who can drive the furthest on just one litre of fuel.

The Big Assembly is a live digital broadcast allowing students the opportunity to discuss their careers, it is also interactive so you and your students will be able to ask questions to the panel to be answered live!

Make the Future Big Assembly, on 2nd July 2019, is aimed at your students in years 7-9 to consider careers in STEM and the opportunities available to them. Thousands of students are expected to take part and will be able to ask questions to the panel and careers experts live via social media (#BigAssembly).

The Big Assembly will also be available on demand after the live broadcast has finished.

On the day, make sure you log on in time and be prepared to ask questions through the links provided in the guidance. If your plans change and you don’t have the chance to watch it, it will be available on demand.

Yes. Anyone who wants the live stream either for themselves or to show to a group will need to register, test and then log on on Monday 4 March.

The Big Assembly is a mix of short inspirational films interspersed with live discussion, which will include the opportunity to take questions from viewers. During the discussion, the Apprentices will be there to answer questions sent ‘real time’ using the online chat facility, email, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

To watch the Big Assembly, you just need to register and check that the connection works, then log in. You can also post questions to be answered live, should you wish to.
