After nearly a decade of inspiring audiences nationwide, the Big Assembly apprenticeship livestream has come to an end.
The Big Assembly became a defining feature of National Apprenticeship Week, reaching hundreds of thousands of learners, educators, parents, and employers across the UK. Through powerful apprentice stories, employer insight, and national collaboration, the event helped to change perceptions and raise awareness of apprenticeships as a credible and rewarding route into work.
Delivered with the support of the Department for Education through the Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge (ASK) programme, the Big Assembly played a key role in supporting careers education at scale.
Despite exploring sponsorship and alternative funding models, it has not been possible to continue the livestream beyond 2025 following the conclusion of the ASK programme and the absence of replacement funding.
We are immensely proud of what the Big Assembly achieved and would like to thank every school, partner, sponsor, and learner who joined us over the years.
The Big Assembly was proudly delivered by Workpays, who continue to support employers and learners through apprenticeships and training nationwide.
